Client Profile

Our client is a large Indian FMCG company best known for its biscuit products. It is one of the oldest existing Indian companies specializing in the food industry with an employee strength of more than 15,000.

Business Challenge

  • As the client had a huge reputation for being a high-quality product manufacturer, adherence to its quality standards was a very critical and a sensitive issue for the management

  • The client wanted to sensitize and train its 10,000+ factory workers on the importance of adhering to its quality standards

  • The training had to be delivered in an engaging and simple manner to a diverse audience of factory workers coming from multiple regions and speaking different languages across India

  • A complete understanding of the importance of compliance to quality standards by each employee had to be ensured

  • A sense of ownership and responsibility for creating quality products had to be instilled in each employee

Solution Designed

  • A detailed analysis of the background of the target audience of factory workers was done to ensure that the training was developed accordingly that could showcase the importance of adhering to quality standards

  • A list of common production errors which could be a threat to the client’s quality standards was noted down so that all these errors could be fully explained in the online training

  • Listing of various scenarios of the day-to-day life of a factory worker was done to show how the slightest negligence could lead to disastrous outcomes and hamper the client’s trust factor with its customers

  • The cause and effect of common production errors were explained in a story-based manner to make the training more engaging

  • The online training was developed in multiple languages to ensure all factory workers were able to understand it

Business Impact

  • The client was able to sensitize the employees on the quality parameter

  • The client witnessed a significant reduction in common production errors

  • The multi-lingual training was easily understood by all factory workers
  •
  • The scenario and story-based format made the training more engaging
