Client Profile

Our client is India's largest exporter of branded processed foods and agro-commodities such as frozen/processed fruits and vegetables, frozen meat products, cereals, coffee, and spices. Exporting to around 85 countries across the world, the organization is recognized as a global leader in the manufacture and export of several consumer products.

Business Challenge

• With multiple offices in India and staff hiring taking place from across the country, the client needed standardization and consistency in the delivery of their onboarding programs

• The client needed highly engaging onboarding training programs which could be used to deploy training their diverse workforce in the most efficient way possible

• The client wanted to replace the previous F2F onboarding system with self-paced onboarding as there were many logistical challenges in conducting the F2F programs

Solution Designed

• A 1 hour story-based self-paced eLearning onboarding course for new hires was designed to make learning more engaging and effective

• The course was created around the journey of a fictitious new hire using rich scenarios and vivid character animations to bring the onboarding course to life and increase course completion levels

• The course was made more interactive with frequent knowledge checks to assess learner understanding, progress and maintain learner engagement

Business Impact

• The onboarding program was well received by both the client and new hires as it made training more interactive, engaging, and effective

• The client was thrilled with the results of the onboarding course which led to the beginning of self-paced online learning in the company

• The story-based course helped to standardize and streamline the delivery of the client's onboarding program which was their key concern

• The previous F2F onboarding system was successfully replaced by the new self-paced onboarding system thereby reducing the previous logical issues to a great extent
